First Communion Figures

These figures are fairly common. They were sold with a small card attached to the bottom of the figure, allowing the ceremony to be dated. After 40 or more years, it is common to see a bow or warp on the base of these sets, as seen on these two examples.

Depending on which source you use for these two figures, they could either be Confirmation or First Communion Statues, as found in some Maid of Scandinavia catalogs.
Both are marked
Hartland Plastics Inc, Hartland Wisc.
