Mint in the Box Hoby Gilman Set | |||||
| I’m not sure I have ever seen a boxed set that is truly Gem Mint. This one, recently purchased by Larry Hyatt, fits that category. Until Larry opened it, this set had never seen the light of day! Fortunately, Larry documented the occasion with these photos for us to see.

As you can see in the the box photo above, it is almost perfect and crisp. When he opened the lid, the parts were the first things he sawstill sealed in the clear plastic bag of course. Under thata few layers of tissue paper. |

| Once the top layer of tissue paper was removed, the figure appeared which was sitting on the saddle protected with more folded tissue paper. There was another layer of tissue paper between the figure and the horse below. | ||||||
