500 Series Mini Rebel

The Rebel was produced in two colors—pink and teal. Based on brochures and catalog photos, he was shipped in quite a variety of horse combinations. The Rebel had a unique maroonish hat in the shape of his 800 series counterpart. Based on the boxed set shown near the bottom, it appears the Rebel was on a Palomino in several of the promo sheets and catalogs, however he appears to be riding a light colored horse with a black mane and tail in the brochure photos. More than likely, the teal shirted version was considered to the "The Rebel" set, and the pink version was adapted when used as "The Westerner". View the Mini Literature to see documented examples.
