Bullet was produced originally around 1955 and shows up just about every time you find a Roy Rogers and Dale Evans pair. (note: The little colt shown on the right, above, was never sold as part of the Roy Rogers family, though Trigger Jr. did appear in a few shows) Interestingly, the piece was never shown in the brochures, however, Bullet appears in quite a few Christmas catalogs during that time. |

| Bullet is quite common, though finding a truly mint one is more of a chore. The boxes and tags are very difficult to find. Bullet usually sold retail for $1.98. In the end, he was also sold as a generic cake decoration. Hartland Plastics did not make a Rin-Tin-Tin. |

Color Variations
While some Bullets have probably yellowed, or turned to a creamy color, I think there was some difference in the color of plastic used on this piece over the years. Since there was no need for a mask on this piece, there are slight variations in the amount of black used on them. Still, they are fairly consistent. |

Bullet Tag:
This tag is a little smaller than most tags shipped with the western sets (1.25" diameter). Notice they misspelled the name! Bullet tags are generally harder to find than most.

Bullet Box:
Most Hartland cardboard boxes are hard to find, but his one is quite a bit more difficult to find for some reason. It is one of the only boxes to get an actual photograph on it.

Bullet in a Bag:
I don’t know how many were shipped this way, but this is the only one of a couple known survivors! |
