| Besides the normal “consumer” brochures, Hartland also produced quite a few Dealer Catalogs which would have been used as selling aids. They are loaded with tidbits of information and also help document exact years Hartland Plastics introduced certain sets. So far, 1958 is my earliest documented catalog, but there are probably others that pre-date it. As you can see, there are other voids. Maybe I can fill them in the next few years. 1958 Dealer Catalog
Since Cheyenne appears in this brochure, I don’t think it could have been any earlier than 1958. The rest of the sets correspond with sets on the 1958 brochures, too. It would have come with a 1958 "Jobber Sheet" with prices. |
| Bruce Schwartz owns two slightly different versions of this catalog. The earlier of the two has a different font and different prices. |

1959 Dealer Catalog
This catalog is the same as the 1958 version. Hartland simply included a different "Jobber Sheet" in each of the two years. |

1960 Dealer Catalog
In the latter part of 1959, Hartland switched their earlier version of Chief Thunderbird to the Warpaint version. This catalog was not dated but showed their new line-up. |

1964 Dealer Catalog
Until the beginning of 1994, I didn't know this one existed. Robert Branson, from eBay, gave me permission to use the photos. The Westerners are shown on this brochure in a variety of different horse and rider combinations. |

1965 Dealer Catalog
I don't own an original, nor even a good photocopy of this brochure, but it obviously exists! By this time, the larger Westerns were phased out making room for horses.
Thanks to Bruce Schwartz for the scans!

1968 Early Dealer Catalog
I only have a black and white photcopy scan of this obscure piece. Most of the sets seem to be similar to the ones shown in the later color catalog. |

This is probably the last catalog. The company had been purchased and moved to Durant, Oklahoma. “Hartland Animal Models” was added under the Circle H logo.
